if the card is under warranty, and the fact you have no access to a trail card just for testing, I’d return it.

what about the idea of reinstalling Windows afresh?

I have an external temperature sensor on my onboard video chip and it starts at room temp(obviously), so about mid to high 20’s (celsius) where I live and climbs a degree about every 30secs.

so yours hitting 50 as soon as you turn it on seems very high, very quickly, even factoring in an add-on, high-end card.

what hits 50 by the way, the CPU or GPU?

            otherwise, I’m out of ideas.

From my canned speech about cpu
Buy a Thermal Paste. I use Arctic Silver Click On Me BUT after watching this best Thermal Click On Me you could try This Click On Me

if you can remember the tension it took to unscrew them, try using the same force.
in others words not too tight, kind of like, keep screwing until the screw bites, then give it another quarter turn.

I replaced the thermal paste 6 times with different tensions, and it happened one time on Fortnite (only for benchmark) the graphics card wasn’t hot 60 degrees or mabye lower and it happened that thing (starts spinning very fast and the monitor is black)
the screws were not too tight, then I tightened the screws quite tightly(one hour ago)
how many times i replace the thermal paste, on the chip is like a little bit of paste (you can see the color of the chip)

can you go to control panel >programs and remove Java. Could be 32 and 64 bit editions. Reboot. If java is needed it can be reinstalled latter.
Did you uninstall Windows update KB5001330 ?
                            also try
