    Is my graphics card dying?

I’m running on a gtx 1070, AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 16gb of ram, windows 10 64 bit. I just recently got VR but even before that I have been having issues in games with things like textures popping in and out at very abnormal distances, shadows not looking right and just becoming dark lines on walls/doors, heavy stuttering when I first start some games (although thats not too frustrating), and now with VR I have been playing games that I should be able to run relatively fine but my computer seems to be struggling on some of the lowest settings. An example of this would be the game Arizona Sunshine which the recommended gpu is a gtx 980 however when I tried it today the framerate alone made it unplayable but along with that came muddy textures and ludicrous pop in with grass and shadows. At this point Im wondering if my computer is struggling because its just not that good or if my GPU is finally giving up the ghost. The only symptom I am not getting according to google is my computer fully crashing or blue screening so Im not 100% sure if its dying or if its something that is holding it back from performing at its fully capacity. I have had it for about 2 years I think but I honestly cant remember it may be more or less than that. Also apologies if this is set up the wrong way as this is my first post on this site but in any case thanks for any help you may be able to provide.
