5 beeps = a CPU problem or on occasion an issue with the MB, the latter includes the CPU and or the chipset itself.
Try restoring the MBs default factory settings in the BIOS, they are sometimes listed as one of the following " factory defaults" “most stable” or on newer boards “optimized” please note that if you have both the “most stable” and the “optimized” options in the BIOS you should choose the most stable" option as in this instance the “optimized” settings are a form of overclocking that can cause instability.

Can I ask that you do not quote every reply as we have to read the full post to make sure nothing gets missed, thanks.[/COLOR]Comment

Not what should have happened at all, quite the opposite in fact.
How did you choose the default settings in the BIOS.
If you are able to, can you run Speccy and post the new url for us.Comment

Speccy shows that your hardware is in perfect order and Windows is fully up to date.
Regarding resetting the factory defaults, ok up to F2 to get into the BIOS but there is no mention of being able to choose factory default settings in your MBs user manual so what key did you press in the BIOS to restore the said settings and did you get the same 5 beeps that you mentioned in your reply #31Comment

I selected it under the exit tab on the far right.
I did not try to restart this time before resetting cmos. I’ve never gotten any other result but I certainly should have tried in this instance. On autopilot after the 100+ times I’ve reset cmos.Comment

Hello o/.
The external SSD is just for my racing sims. They take up a ton of space. I haven’t tried to remove it but it’s relatively new and the shutdowns are not..
I have a logictec racing wheel and that’s it besides my headphones and monitor.
The beeping is five short, even beeps.Comment

Have you re-seat the CPU?
Assembled the system outside of the case on a piece of cardboard to see if the issue replicates.Comment

Shouldn’t have said “external.” SATA inside system.
I have not reseated the cpu. When you say “assembled the system outside of the case on a piece of cardboard,” do you mean disassemble, place parts on cardboard and reassemble back *in the case to make sure all the connections are correct?Comment

Download MiniToolBox and save the file to the Desktop.
Close the browser and run the tool, check the following options;
List Installed Programs
List Devices (Only Problems)
List Users, Partitions and Memory size
Click on Go.
Post the resulting log in your next reply for us if you will.Comment
