Can anyone help?
A friend of ours has just given us a PC to try and fettle. It’s suddenly gone into a cycle where once the power button is pressed the led comes on, the processer fan spins up for a second, then it all switches off, then 3 seconds later it does it all again. The only way to stop it is to switch the PSU off. We’ve swapped out the PSU for a spare one we had but it does the same thing.
Is the motherboard goosed or is it a wiring issue from the power switch back to the motherboard?
Thanks
