    Hello. i have recently helped my cousin buy a pc and these are the following specs
    ryzen 5 3500X
    rtx 2060
    16gb ram
    2tb hdd
    240gb ssd

    when he got his pc, he tried setting it up and it wouldnt let him connect to the internet but hes using an ethernet cable, it says unidentified network. and on the sky router its coming up with an orange and green light. we’ve tried everything online and followed all the steps but nothing seems to work.
    Can anyone help please?

        Took a brief look at the link but not going through the whole lot

        Short questions and answers work best;

        Have you installed the LAN drivers for the MB.

        Have you followed the steps in #6 here

          Where? flashing steady on?
          Some modem lights change color to show that there is an issue.

          What version of windows?

          Have you looed in Device manager under networking and are there any ? or X or unknown devices?

          Have you tried a different computer using the same port?

          Have you tried within windows 10 to reset the network.

          Reboot the modem
