    Advice for new graphics card

    Hi.
My PC is getting on, its from 2014, the graphics card is a Radeon R9 255 OEM. Its been fine for my uses but now i wish to upgrade as running games is now problematic. It’s been over a decade now since i last did any upgrades so would appreciate some advice on what i could get for my PC.

I have an AMD FX 8300 8 core 3.30 processor and 12GB RAM. Asustek M51BC motherboard, windows 10.

New PC not an option atm. Im not expecting to run latest cards but would love suggesstions for what to upgrade to, many thanks.

    Hello

Check your system against these links.. Should give you a good indication of what you need..

Check your system requirements. Can I Run it? Test your specs and rate your gamimg PC.

Find and fix CPU or GPU bottlenecks in your PC. Check if your PC will bottleneck, optimize performance and game frame rate.

Yeah sure. its given great list of suggestions and have saved it. But looking at the current prices of used cards on ebay i’ll wait i think before upgrading. I was expecting 4 y/o old cards to be well under £100 (they once were) but seems they cost as much now as when new!. Is this due to lockdown demand and mining rigs etc?. Anyway thanks for the help!
