So a couple of days ago I replaced some case fans on my pc. Booted down, power off and unplugged everything. First boot after the putting the power cord back in , I get no video output on my monitors and also no power to the mouse, keyboard and headset. After hours of tinkering around the only thing that worked is putting the gpu in another pcie x16 slot and removing the cmos for about 10 minutes. I proceed to put gpu back in the pcie gen 3 slot. Pc worked fine for about a day and then today i got a random freeze while browsing. PC completely unresponsive , restart button didn’t work, nothing. After about 10 seconds it restarts on it’s own with again no video output and no power going to the peripherals.I built the pc early 2017 and my specs are:
Asus H170 -Pro
I5-6500
Corsair vs550 (only 80 plus white certified)Gtx 1060 3gb
16Gb ddr4 2133Mhz
Windows 10 Pro (Latest version)
The only things I’m doubtful of are the PSU or the motherboard not being able to properly deliver power to other parts of the system. Does anyone have any suggestions? I turned off C states in the bios after the 2nd restart, but I doubt it will help if the issue is more concerning
