Gosh, I’m screwed and need some help. Just bought a new PC and it’s terribly slow.
It’s a Acer Aspire XC330,AMD A4-9120e Processor, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD
What could I do to speed it up?
Thank you!
being new and being Acer, there’s a good chance they have their bloatware installed.
you could go into Programs and Features and uninstall everything that came with the PC that looks like non-essential software.
personally, I’d load a fresh install of Win10 to not only remove all preloaded programs but start from a clean slate as well.
that processor is a little on the underside of average and about 3 years old now so they married a SSD to the system to speed it up.
but hey, it would have been priced accordingly and if all the rig is for is Office apps, emails, web searching etc then you’ll be fine.
