Problem cant scces bios

Hello guys
I just bought a 4690k with ram and off course the z97 gaming gt mother board.
Its from a friend i removeds this parts with him i know its not faulty.
This morning i pluged everithing as usual
When starting the thing i was not able too pass A2 shown on the led in corner.
I unpluged my graphics card let just 1 ram all hard drive unpluged too i cleared cmos removed the baterie for 1h now like this i cant pass A0
cant acces the dam bios etc it show on screen the gigabyte logo press del enter bios end q-flash etc cant go further and A0 on the led…
I post this there because i realy dont know what too
Any tips you can give me pls?

Well i tried with a ps2 keyboard just in case i was not able acces bios cause the keybord was not recongnized in usb
I had change the cmos batery still it stall with A0
I went too a pc store they will check it
I had no other idea about what to do

does that mobo have a BIOS SW?
position 1 is to use Main BIOS, position 2 is Backup BIOS.
the MBIOS_LED and BBIOS_LED will show which is active.

also, pressing the CMOS_SW will clear the BIOS for you.

A0 and A2 error codes related to IDE functions, that is, hard drives and optical drives (the old sort).
so unplug all storage mediums when booting and try that.

Yep thats true this motherboard have a switch for first or a second bios
And also for dual bios or not
I tryed without succes and also by clearing the cmos
Its very strange i think the mb is kind of defect but i wonder why

I would have to agree - faulty mobo.
why - can’t say, but thank goodness for warranty.

Yes and its good news the cpu was delided and using liquid metal but somes had touch the transistor nerby the cpu and caused a short!!
I cleaned everithing and had aply some nail polish too isolate them
It run well and nothing damaged very lucky iam!!

hmmm… not sure about the nail polish hack, but at least you’re up and running.
do backups while you can!

I’m worried about the longevity of your solution but time will tell.

Hehe It will be ok, i made some test to be sure because yea it sound crasy !
next step will try too reach 5ghz!
