I bought the omen x27 for the 1440p @ 240hz display, but when I change the refresh rate about 144hz I get vertical lines… any pointers??

hmmm… not sure.
and this is where my experience in high refresh rates will let me down.
I’m yet to dip my toes in the waters of 4K monitors and going above 60Hz.

Make and model of the PSU

EDIT: Is anything over clocked

what is the power scheme set to?

Try High Power and see if that makes a difference. You might also try different power setting to see if that helps.

Turn off xmp and see if that makes any difference.

Turns out that the monitor was just bad, returned as of yesterday, I was hoping it was a set up issue, but I guess not
