While using my vr on a 450w psu, I heard a spark and a fried smell come from my pc. After that my pc stopped working and wouldn’t turn on. I concluded that it might be a PSU problem as it wasn’t too great in the first place, so I got a new PSU (Corsair CX 750W). I got everything plugged in and ready, and my pc still won’t turn on. Is this a possible MOBO problem or should I tweak around with my new PSU to see if anything needs to be changed? I highly doubt its anything related to my GPU as I put in my old one and it still wouldn’t turn on.
New PSU, PC won't turn on now.

Look at the motherboard and all the other components see if there is any charing, discoloring, blown (bulging) capacitors.Comment

All that does is tell us that the PSU will turn on. Yes it may still be ok and under a load it may give out.
