Hi can anyone tell me if this is a actual drive you can put disks in for your pc if its external only and or also internal to as a place i made my pc called ccl computers where i made my last pc 5 years ago forgot to put it in or with my pc as i got it finally delivered today i cant find it any box it came in or in the pc this is the item i am on about - Verbatim DVD Writer Optical Drive - i cant instal my windows 10 without it as its a disk version i have ordered a external usb dvd drive from amazon for £20 with one day delivery so i can instal it while i waite for there support to get back to me.

Why not just Download the install for Windows 10 form here. Create the install media on a USB thumb drive and install from that.

Thanks for the information now i know it should be external one that should have come in the box also know what to say to them when they reply also i dont have a usb thumb drive i do have a external hard drive but that has all the files i am taking over pluss i already have the windows 10 disk dvd brand new.Originally posted by Rustys
