Troubleshooting slow load times in World of Warcraft

I built this PC around 3 yrs ago and have had the same problems with it no matter what Ive tried. While playing WOW, the load times and population of the screen as I fly around have always been slow. I have added ram and have upgraded to a new ssd drive with no help. Have checked bios and made sure the XMP is checked for ram as well. Have made sure all drivers are up to date.

Specs are as follows:

Intel Core i7-7700 3.6ghz

Nvidia GTX 1060-6GB

Samsung 970 Pro NVMe PCIe M.2 512GB

Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2400 C16 4x8GB

Have settings on 7 in WoW and get around 50-60fps.

I guess it needs to be mentioned that I am playing on a 4k tv. BUT, I hooked up to my old 1080p tv and dps rates were much better but still had the same load/population problem.

100-150fps in Fortnite and didnt play enough to notice any problems(hate that game)

I did a little more research and turns out my new sticks of ram are not the same as the old.
Would this be a huge problem(even though I was still having these issues before adding)?
2 sticks of these in proper slots:
Manufacturer Corsair
Max Bandwidth DDR4-2400 (1200 MHz)
And 2 of these:
Manufacturer Corsair
Max Bandwidth DDR4-2132 (1066 MHz)
I might just remove the other just cause I know I dont NEED 32gb of ram…

Any help and or suggestions would be appreciated.

The faster 2400MHz RAM is being clocked back to 2132MHz which is what is expected to happen, remove the slower RAM and see how things go.

If removing the slower RAM does not help, include the brand and model name or number of the PSU when you next reply.[/color][/color]

Removed other ram. Benchmark was much better and still no difference in play. PSU is 600watt EVGA

As long as the PSU has a minimum of a Bronze efficiency rating it should be ok.

Not a gamer myself so not much help when it comes to FPS but over the years through helping people I have found that when it comes to online gaming there are two things that hinder gaming, a poor internet connection and browser security plug ins, sort them and you are usually good to go.

Something for you to do to see how your present set up handles video when not online gaming;

Use the free versions at the following links;

Stress test your GPU with Furmark

Check your FPS etc with SUPERPOSITION

Sorry about that.
I have tested my GPU with MSI Afterburner and Kombustor. Getting 34fps during the test. Messed with settings and got it up to 36fps. Not really worth my time and not stable so going back to stock settings.
I have the 100mbps service. And most of the time its just me using. Speed test shows 115mbps.
Not exactly sure what you mean about browser plugins. World of Warcraft is through a separate installed program.
PSU is bronze rated.

As mentioned previously I am not a gamer co correct me if I am wrong but isnt WoW an online multi player game that requires users to have a browser such as Chrome or Opera etc.

If it is only WoW that you have a problem with the Blizzard info here may be of help.

Im pretty sure WOW does not open in a browser. Have downloaded and run tests you recommended.
The Furmark at 4k is @ 25fps. Figured Id run that since Im gaming at 4k…
At 1080p it is running 74fps and at 720p 118fps
On Unigine: 1080p medium 63fps and around 25 on the 4k run.
My gpu definetly didnt like it heat wise, peaked at 75c each run.
I will have to look into the other link you provided and see what I can do.

Your computer will be using one program or another to connect to the internet and that program will have its own security checks as will your ISP who will also have a firewall on their router.

Will need to wait on the outcome of the Blizzard test for now.
