    Upgrade old pc

    So hi!
My pc is about 6 y/o… I’m a csgo player.
When I’m in game I’m getting lags and big FPS drops (not only in csgo but mostly) so I figured out maybe it is time to upgrade…
    I have I5-6400 2.70 GHz, GTX 960 4G and 16GB Ram, my motherboard is Asus H110M-A D3.
I want to know if there is something I can upgrade to like buy a new GPU to get better FPS? or is it too old to upgrade and my single option is to buy a new pc?
    Thanks!

    So others can better assist…
    1. What is your budget?
    2. Make and model of the power supply

Here you can see the minimum requirement for your game.

        Can you work with that?

Your mainboard supports up to 6th generation Core i7, so it’s up to you to only buy a new CPU or a new MB and CPU as well.
If you keep the old M/B, you will have to buy new 2x16GB memory modules, and the expansion slots on this are not that many.

The money will not come out of my pocket, but here’s what I suggest:

Sell the old motherboard, CPU, Memory, PSU and video card and use the money plus -more that a few- to buy/build a better rig.

I would have done the same but I had to chose between staying married or building a new rig and I chickened out.. ..lame..
