    Internet Detection

    Hi,

I have a problem with my PC, it doesn’t detect the available internet connections. I always have the “no connection” symbol (a squared sphere) whether I am connected or not.

I used to be connected in ethernet (and I had access to internet, my PC just said I didn’t) but now I only have access to wifi, I can’t connect to it because the PC doesn’t detect it.

What could be a solution ?

I am pretty sure it is a MB problem because even reseting integrally the PC didn’t work but it would be very bad for me if I had to replace it…

Nothing to be sorry for as soon as you post the information requested we can assist you getting this resolved.

You may also was to reboot the modem and router and see if that clear it up at all.

                Let do this.

Will give us the information as to what you computer is made of.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Speecy does not include the power supply information post the make and model

Here is the snapshot : http://speccy.piriform.com/results/2...UHKeojJe5WqQhg

For the PS it’s a be quiet but I can’t remind the model and would prefer not to open the case as it’s hard to reclose after.

I already tried reseting the PC and the problem was still there, same for network reset

In Device Manager i have :
Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller #2
                    WAN Miniport IKEv2
                    WAN Miniport IP
                    WAN Miniport IPv6
                    WAN Miniport L2TP
                    WAN Miniport Network Monitor
                    WAN Miniport PPPOE
                    WAN Miniport PPTP
                    WAN Miniport SSTP

                    Is there something missing ?

Try a different port on the modem

Using a Admin Command Prompt type the following
                      ipconfig /all >"%userprofile%\desktop\ipconfig.txt
                      Copy and Paste the information

                      Not seeing anything missing
Next to the Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller #2 (or any of them) is there a symbol of any sort besides the double monitors

How did you do the reset for the PC?
If you used install media where did it come form?
Did you install the chipset and Drives for the hardware?

From the sounds of it you just need to replace the NIC (Network Interface Card).

Have you tried running the system in Safe Mode with Networking?

                      Have you tried Clean Boot?

                        The cmd text doesn’t work

No strange sign next to anything

I created a boot usb from microsoft site

                        Whats is a NIC ?

I know what Safe mode is but don’t understand what “with Networking” stands for. (I am not english sorry)

It is the card that is used to connect the cable to the computer so you can access the network and internet.
should be able to get them at any computer store or online.

With networking is so you can still access the network and the internet.
If you go into just Safe Mode you do not have access to the network

No worries about the language barrier.[/color]
