My PC not wanting to boot Realtek, or detecting anything that's plugged into the audio jack inputs...

Hello, I just recently upgraded my computer with a newer CPU, the AMD Ryzen 5 2600 from a AMD Ryzen 3 3600. Everything is working great except for a strange issue where none of my audio jack inputs are detecting anything. Like, nothing is displaying on the computer that shows something’s plugged in to those ports. I’ve tried both my headphone jack and speaker jack on every audio port there is on the computer, to no avail. I’ve also noticed that Realtek isn’t launching, even if I try to force it to, nothing pops up. I’m not sure if Realtek needs a speaker or headphones to be detected to launch, but it is strange that it isn’t launching at all. The only audio that the computer says is outputting is through the HDMI connected to my monitor, that has no built in speakers.

I’ve looked online for fixes, but a lot of them involve rightclicking on an icon in Device Manger for either the speakers or Realtek, then either updating the drivers or uninstalling and reinstalling. My issue however, is that none of those things are displayed for me at all in Device Manger. I do see that NINVIDA High Defenition Audio is detected, but that just goes to the HDMI. In hope, I’ve tried rightclicking on the NINVIDA High Definition Audio icons and tried to update it’s drivers and uninstalling then reinstalling it, but still nothing. It’s just still only connected to the HDMI.

I’m no tech expert, not even remotely, but I have a feeling that it might have something to due with the new CPU. All of this only cropped up when I installed the new CPU. Mind you, I did take a bunch of precautions when installing it, made sure not to touch the bottom of the CPU, didn’t unplug anything from the motherboard. I’m just wondering if it’s possible that the audio jack ports aren’t working due to a new CPU being intalled?

I’ve went to a through a ton of forums and videos that have a similar issue, but nothing is working for me. I’d appreciate any help I could get!

    Hello

Did you check to see if there was a bio update for that new cpu, from AMD’s website?
