    GPU Severely Underperforming! Please Help!

    Hello all!

I’m brand new to this website and it’s different forums, but I was hoping to find some help for a problem I’ve been having with my system.
I was having some trouble running a few games, and the CPU I had at the time (AMD A-10 6800k APU) seemed to be the culprit, so I went out and purchased a new motherboard to fit a Ryzen 3 1200 that I had lying around. I did a clean install of windows, installed all the proper drivers for the new parts only to realize, the games were still running poorly, like 15-30 frames in Dark Souls 3 at the lowest settings, poorly. I decided to take a look at task manager while the game was running, and GPU usage was nearing, if not, at 100% most of the time. I did a userbenchmark and here are the results I got, if it helps.

    UserBenchmarks: Game 16%, Desk 59%, Work 38%
    CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 - 65%
    GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060-3GB - 7.1%
    SSD: Adata SU635 240GB - 67.7%
    SSD: 512gb QLC SATA SSD 512GB - 86.6%
    RAM: Crucial BLS4G4D240FSB.8FBD2 2x4GB - 84.4%
    MBD: Gigabyte B450M DS3H

A score of 7.1% for the GPU seems to be horrendous, as the average listed is around 54%!
Not listed is the PSU, which is an EVGA 500w Bronze or something along those lines.
I haven’t the slightest idea what could be causing such poor performance, other than a dying GPU ):
If there’s any more information that I could provide that would be useful, please let me know and thank you so much for the help!!!

    Hello

From my research your Evga psu is mediocre power supply. So you may want to find a better psu..

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.
