Run Windows own memory test then get back to us if you will, I reckon the RAM will pass and if it does it goes some way to supporting the running out of RAM theory.

I ran the test and the results came back with no errors detected.

As was suspected, 8GB of RAM is enough for the game that you were playing, did you have anything else running in the background.

I may have had a YouTube tab minimized with no video playing. Steam would have been open but that’s it. There was nothing else running in the background.

Not a gamer so have to ask, is Total war Warhammer 2 an online game or is it played offline.

Ah okay, no problem. So in order for the game to launch through Steam, an internet connection is needed. The game does have multiplayer but I only play singleplayer.

Sorry but once the game has launched can it be played or do you have to stay online to be able to play.

I’m pretty sure you would still need to be online to be able to play it.

No problem, try playing the game with only Steam open and see what if anything happens, browsers can suffer from memory leak so was hoping that you could play the game offline to see if it still crashed.

                    See thread here

Okay, I will keep playing and see if it happens again. From what I can tell, it only happens with this game but so far today nothing has happened. Thanks again Phill for all your help. Shall I keep you updated on this thread or start a new one if anything happens?

We do have an update procedure in place so see how things go over the next three days, if we don`t hear back from you we will close this thread, if however you do have further problems and with any game please start a new thread on the Gaming Support forum

                        You are welcome btw
