Unstable System - Process crashing on Win and Linux

I ran CheckDisk with \R on COS drive only) E:\recovery. Checking the event log I it said no errors detected ( attached a crop).

Before I could test anything in Safe Mode with Network (no LAN plugged in yet, no Wifi possible), the system hard resetted with no bluescreen; just a black screen and shortly after I saw my Bios. It then booted to normal ; no Safe Mode.

I tested with Xeanial Puppy RAM only for about 20 min I did some stuff. No crashes of programs. After the time I checked system log. I found about 6 mce errors (
machine check execption [Hardware Error] : event logged). Also before I checked chkdisk I saw many Processor check errors seeming kinda similar to mce errors in the event viewer.

Then only thing that has not been tested is the Motherboard.

There are two things that can be done replacement if you can find a match so you can use the same parts.

Take it to a shop that can test motherboards.

I think for me it would be better I got another matching Motherboard. There would be 2 cases

• The errors are gone with a new MB. Now I can test the old GPU and see it is faulty.
  or
• The errors are still there with the new MB. Then I would have a MB for Backup and am one step closer to build a new Backup System with the old PSU and mb the old GPU. This would be ideal since I can not say that the system I am currently using is durable.
  But rather if I would use option 2:
• the shop says ok: But I have problems
• the shop says faulty : Then I would need option 1 too.
  I think for me it would be better to opt into option 1.
  Buying a new MB I am thinking what are my goals. This is my main system and my plans for it would be for it to last for about 10 Years and it should have minimal gaming support for that time. Minimal gaming support means playing games on lowest settings with 30 fps.
  With this in mind my CPU needs an AM4 socket; my GPU needs I think 128bit; I have 2 DDR4 RAM sticks.
  I currently have the Biostar x570GT MB.

My question is whether I need a X570 MB or could I use a X470 or B450 for my goals. Am I missing something? (Link for pot. compatibility with flashbacks)

Yesterday I got a new MB the MSI B450M Pro-VHDMAX.
My steps went as follows.

1. Unplug PSU and turn it off. Press Power On for 5s. Grounding me
2. Unplug fans and all PSU cables
3. Remove GPU → RAM → MB → CPU-Fan → remove thermal paste → remove CPU
4. Add CPU → thermal paste → Cpu-Fan → install MB
5. install 1 RAM stick → GPU.

Not only a new MB I got new HDMI and SATA cables with a new 1TB HDD.
Using those all and a freshly created USB via the Media Creation tool I started the install on the new HDD.
At about 35% I got an error 0xC0000005 telling me something about memory. So I checked my RAM whether it is fully in. Trying again about 3 times with the same result I went to bed.
Today I tested the USB using badblocks writing it fully over. No errors so I grabbed an iso of openSuse and installed which froze after I got about 3.5GB of packages to install. Then I tried again with an arch install which lead me to a MCE error.
So in total I replaced every part except the CPU and I still have the same error I think. Most likely it is a user error by me esp. since this is my first build from 2019 Okt. I think I might be doing the same mistake like a short circuit or else over and over again.

So I RMAed the CPU and after I got the new one the problems went away

Most odd as we conclusively tested the CPU back in June/the beginning of July and it passed with flying colours as did everything else except the MB.
