More storage being used than what should be

I am currently using my backup SSD, which is only like 120gb, to begin with, so I’m already struggling with storage, currently, the biggest things I have downloaded are two games, both are under 30gb together, but when I go to my storage settings it shows that apps and features is using 80gb of my storage, but when i click on it to see what is using the storage, the files using it are nowhere to be found.

It is also doing this with temporary files, it is showing that I have over a gig of temporary files, but when I click on it to get rid of the files, they aren’t anywhere to be found.

      Hi,

Try running the extended disk cleanup utility to free up disk space, How to Enable Hidden Options in Windows’ Disk Cleanup Tool.

Then download and run CCleaner on your computer to free up more space.

Is this the same hard drive you have been trying to install Linux on?
