    Screen cutting out

A few years ago my graphics card on my computer stopped working and we had to get a new one, after that randomly the screen would go black for about 3 seconds and turn back on and input:dvi would pop up, it would most commonly happen when a program launches, also whenever i would launch a game the same thing would happen but the game would minimize and i couldnt reopen it and id have to force quit it from task manager. Recently we got a new computer so i decided to reformat the old one, i completely wiped the hard drives and installed windows 10, i thought it might fix it but it didnt, im guessing the graphics card is not compatible but im wondering if there is anything i can try before having to buy a new one.

Graphics card: Radeon™ RX 460 Graphics
    Processor: Intel(R) Core™ i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Motherboard: ASUSTeK Computer INC. P8z68-M PRO
    8GB of RAM

    Hi,

Have you tried updating your motherboards BIOS to the latest version? Have you tried installing that video card into another computer to rule out a faulty video card?

Have you installed the latest driver’s for the video card from AMD’s website? What build of Windows 10 are you using?
