1440x900 screen resolution problem

So basically, yesterday I reinstalled a fresh copy of windows 7 64-bits on my computer (a Compaq Pressario SG3750IL) before the reinstallation it was on 32 bits. I downloaded all the drivers and everything, didn’t really find any issue but I noticed a problem with the resolution, it seemed a bit odd comparing to how it was before reinstalling. My monitor’s native resolution is 1440x900, I couldn’t find it on the resolution menu of windows there was either values below or above so for the time being I sticked to the 1366x768 resolution but it just looks a bit off, anyway I went on Google to look for a solution and I found a video where it’s suggested to just create a custom resolution using the Nvidia control panel (forgot to mention I’m using a GeForce GT 430 for the GPU) So I did that and created it but it didn’t fit on my screen at all and it looked blurry so I just went back to the 1366x768, although I noticed that the resolution I’m setting and the one temporarily showing on my monitor whenever I turn it on and off don’t really match, like right now even though I’m on 1366x768, it shows 1280x768 on the monitor status. I provided a few pictures to give a better illustration of what my problem is. Here Thanks in advance, I really hope I’d get to fix this issue.

      Hi,

Try adjusting the monitor’s refresh rate in the display setting in Windows and see if that allows that particular resolution to show up.
