    Black screen Issue

    Hello,

    I recently bought a Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT 8G graphics card for my PC and I’m having a issue every two or three days, Was wondering if anyone could help me out?

    Spec information;
    Processor - Intel Core i7-7700k
    GPU - AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
    Memory - 16GB
    Power - EVGA 750 GQ (4 Fans and a duel fan water cooling system)
    Screen - Duel screen set up

    If any information is required on spec, please inform me and I’ll send as much as I can.

    The issue;
    Once or twice every 2-3 days, my computers main monitor will just go black and lose connection to my PC (Only method I’ve found that reinstates it, is a restart) The sounds and 2nd monitor remain on, (In regards to sound, Discord call is fully functional with me being able to continue too speak) The 2nd monitor is also completely functional during the black screen on other side.

    This issue doesn’t happen all the time so its difficult for me to troubleshoot it, I’ve noticed it happens on more graphically intensive games, but also happens on games like league of legends.

    My thoughts;
    I believe it might be a heat issue, on the GPU but I believe my fans are set up correctly within the tower. Wouldn’t know a method to reduce heat. (Please see the attach file encase you believe this is the issue)

    Overall I’m not sure on what the issue is, so any advise on the matter would be amazing, if you need any additional information I’ll gladly give it.

    Thank you for reading
    Louis

    Hello madcaplouis,

    Something for you to do to see how your present set up handles video when not online gaming;

    Use the free versions at the following links;

    Stress test your GPU with Furmark

    For Windows 10: Check your FPS etc with SUPERPOSITION
