    VGA red light on

Hello guys, I am new to this forum. I build a gaming rig a while ago and every thing was running good. I used to play apex legends and sometimes my game used to close itself. Since it was super rare I never really cared about it. The problem started after I started playing COD warzone. I was constantly getting kicked from the game. I used to get different kinds of Dev error,nvwgf2umx.dll, and sometimes no error at all. I always thought that it was the games fault but suddenly my Apex legends also started behaving the same way. I sent my pc to repair and they told me my CPU and mother is faulty( which I think is not true because my pc was working fine except those two games. Even played CSGO before sending the pc to repair) . They asked me 1200$(my pc cost less than that) to replace CPU and mother board which is outrageous ( stupid japanese company ). I chose to replace the parts my self but after I got the pc back I could not use it. My pc opens but there is no display. there is a VGA light on mother board. I suspected something happened to my graphics (based on all information I could find online )card during shipping but my graphics card works just fine. I used my friends pc to test it. what other reasons might be there for the light. I am using Ryzen 5 3600 with MSI b450m gaming plus. I tried bios update with the button in mother board but It was not working. The light flashes three times and the pc turned on( no display of course). If there anyone who went through the same thing or has some suggestions. I don’t have a spare mother board and CPU to test so I wanted to rely on some experts opinion to see what’s going on.
I am really sorry for the really long post

that file name you give suggests it’s a NVidia card and maybe a uninstall/reinstall of the latest graphics card driver may be the first thing to try.
next, is the PC under warranty still?
also, check out the MSI website for that B450 board and find what the manual has for 3 flashes - it should help pinpoint the potential cause.

and lastly, plug the monitor into the onboard card port and see if any game still plays (prob not) but at least if the PC shows a signal. it sounds like you only had the issue while playing games but now have it full time so the add-on graphics card is where my money lies.

I reinstalled drivers , reinstalled window and did all kinds of diagnostics before sending my pc to repair. The problem I have now is the pc opens but the display is dead. I already checked my graphics card in another pc and it is absolutely working. I cannot check CPU and mobo because I don’t have the spare parts for it. Unfortunately , I don’t have an integrated graphics card. I think something wrong with the mobo. The graphics card was not clicking in properly inside the PCIe. I really had to force it in. Does VGA light turn on if there is problem with CPU??

graphic cards don’t need forcing in, they require a firm push at best to get the locking clip to click into place.
dig out the motherboard manual booklet that it came with or go to the MSI site and look it up online.
there should be a troubleshooting section in it that explains what 3 flashing lights mean.

Please @DeathEater, no need to quote previous posts, only makes for clutter.

Seeing you have “forced in” the graphics card there’s good chance you have damaged the card and or motherboard slot. Check to see if any contacts on the connector bus of the card are damaged and if not try plugging the card GENTLY into another full length PCI-E slot on your motherboard.

@gus Thank you for you reply.I think the PCIe is broken. Unfortunately I only have one PCIe slot. The graphics is not broken tho, I used it on my friends pc. I bought a new board…so will update the post if it works. I really hope it’s not the CPU
