    No Signal Crisis

    Hi all,

So i’m totally new here and i’ve got to admit i’m not computer expert. I appreciate that I have little to give back to this community as quite an amateur, and i’m hugely grateful to anyone who can give me some time to address my PC problem.

So i’ve got a tower PC that i’ve had for about 5 months, and just today it has had a serious seeming crash. Whilst browing on Chrome, the whole thing froze randomly, so after waiting a while I powered it off. When I turned it back on - no signal. No beeps on start up either, usually I get two beeps.

So far i’ve tried taking out the RAM one by one (I have 16gb RAM) and turning it on. After that, I took them all out and tried them one by one in the slot closest to the CPU. No luck.

I tried holding down the power 20 seconds unplugged to get rid of static, then power on, still no luck.

I’m being told that removing the graphics card is an option here - but i’m not confident to do it. I could perhaps post a picture of the insides if anyone wanted to see.

Anyway, i’m open to suggestions and any advice, I have the time to try anything. Normally id take this to a computer store but due to the pandemic… You know the story

Ok, so, thanks very much to anyone who reads this.

If i’ve posted in the wrong forum please, moderator, feel free to move this thread to the correct location

    All the best
