The CPU fan is running much slower than usual. When I boot into backup BIOS mode (MB switch), it seems to be working, but I am never able to acquire the image.

Sorry gemme380 but you going off and trying different things then multi posting is losing me and I have absolutely no idea what you mean by some of the info in your posts
Originally posted by gemme380New update: Without the GPU, I pressed the RST_SW button on the MB and normal startup followed. However, once again, it was impossible to acquire the image

It would be better all round if you did one step at a time, did what was suggested and then provided feedback and avoid multi posting unless it is essential.Comment

After many tries i figured the problem is a corrupt BIOS. I managed to get it started on the backup BIOS.Comment

If the computer is working now do the following, if not working now do it the next time that the computer is working and please only post back if you have the Speccy url for us or something drastic happens.
Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.
To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:
In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.Comment
