I got this after i overclocked my MSI armor OC rx 570 8gb to 2100 memory clock. It crashed and after that i get this weird looking shapes. System is stable with this shapes and no crashes are occuring if i dont put higher memory oc. Anyone can help me what can i do to fix this? I tried windows reinstall and its still the same. The problem is still present with default clock settings.
Thank you

Two common causes of artifacts is overheating and a weak power supply, the latter can itself overheat internally which can be difficult to pin down.
First suggestion is that you stop all OCing while troubleshooting this, do this by restoring the MBs default factory settings in the BIOS, please note that any damaged caused by OCing is non reversible.
If the computer is a desktop can you post the brand and model name or number of the power supply (PSU).
Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.
To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:
In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.
You missed providing the requested brand and model name or number of the power supply (PSU).
When troubleshooting the first thing that you should do is stop all overclocking by restoring the MBs default factory settings in the BIOS.
Noticed the following in Speccy straight away,
Power Profile
Active power scheme: High performance
I suggest that you change the Windows Power Plan to Balanced, High Performance is a form of overclocking that is known to cause stability and overheating issues and the setting should only be used for gaming type notebooks that have a discrete GPU that needs the extra power.
There are a couple of other things flagged up in Speccy with one that needs to be addressed asap else you are going to end up with an non booting computer.
Do the above recommendations, test the computer to see how it runs but under no circumstances should you install any Windows updates that may be suggested, once tested post back to let us know how it went and be sure to to include the brand and model name or number of the PSU for us.
if i reset MB settings on stock, PC wont boot up coz Xeon needs to be configured manually to run. If i leave everything on auto, pc isnt booting up. i can only try to downclock it but im afraid that i will get unstable system. This Xeon settings provided me with stable system. Also i have changed the Dram timings because i have 2 different types of ram (3x 1333 mz- 3x 1600 mhz) i have ordered 3 more 1600 stick so i can have them all to be 1600 mhz Kingston sticks.
PSU is Corsair CX 750 Bronze
I changed to Balanced, restarted but nothing happened.
Can i know the other issue why wont my pc boot up if i leave it like this?
Yea thats the board. im 100% sure it wont lood up without setting things manually Xeon X56** processors are off label use on a p6t deluxe v2 board. But i got it for like 20$ and swapped my old i7 920 and its good xD
Thanks for confirming that the board was the same as yours (y)
Sorry to have to admit that I am unable to help you with this as I have absolutely zero knowledge about overclocking and my only dealings with it has been to help fix things when the OC has gone bad.
Having done some initial research after reading your OP I did a lot more after looking at your Speccy url because what I was seeing was telling me that the Intel Xeon X5675 was not compatible with the ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 MB when using the boards stock settings as the Xeon X5675 has a TDP of 95W while the i7 CPUs that the board is intended for the TDP is 130W, weird thing is that the XEON has a higher thermal trigger.
There is one person that may able to help you with this I will send him a PM.
BTW, well done for being able to get such a build up and running.
Thank you. its an old powerhouse which will hold for another year i think. I think my gpu went bad from the old cooler master 700w Real Power PSU which was about 9 years old. I got a new CX750 v2 psu and i think i need a new gpu since i did everything i could to deal with the artifacts but without success.
No problem, have sent an SOS but our colleague has not been around for a week so not sure on any response time, I will watch your thread with interest, stay safe meanwhile (y)
Edit to add: What GPU are you considering, if anything real high end the CX750M may not be appropriate as Corsair don`t intend them to be used in gaming rigs, the following from their homepage;
CX Series Modular power supply units are an excellent choice for basic system builds and desktop PC computer upgrades,
I used the range in builds for years but modern GPUs are so demanding you need a Gold efficiency rated PSU these days.
Well, i have checked around before buying. My cx750 is the next gen cx PSU which is not modular. It had some very good discount price and i bought it. I read more about the cx750M which infact is worse than this newer generation cx750. The old version has green letters. new one is with gold package and silver letters. https://www.newegg.com/corsair-cx-se...82E16817139199
Im going for a 1650/1660 6gb or 5500 XT series of mid-range gaming gpu’s. Can u recommend me some of the brands? MSI, ASUS, SAPPHIRE, GIGABYTE?
Also, i had a CM700W without efficiency rating at all for 9 years and was supporting a BEAST of an old card GTX 295 for 9 years xD
I prefer Nvidea personally but each to their own, AMD only have one GPU in the top ten and it costs $600, you can compare performance and prices here
Not a good link for your PSU, first thing that I saw was the following;
great while it lasted
Lasted 4 months, but I didn[ICODE]t buy here. But that doesn[/ICODE]t matter, it would be broken no matter where I bought it, Its suppose to last 5 years

You can check out the PSU info links for an unbiased opinion on PSUs, the one here is pretty straight to the point no nonsense.
Currently with the system, does it boot up normally and can you play games and stream videos if the RX 570 is using stock settings?
Did you make any changes in your motherboards BIOS regarding overclocking or did you overclock the video card using the AMD Radeon WattMan tool or MSI Afterburner?
