Open Command Prompt then type in the command below’

      DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

      Press Enter

If we are lucky enough to be able to get this to run it may take a while and the process may appear to be stuck at 20 or 40 percent but if left alone it should complete a short while later,

Please note that this is a Windows repair tool and not intended nor can it repair a damaged.

I will be going offline soon as I have an early start so if you are able to let us know asap whether or not DISM was able to run.

Suggests that there is a problem with the registry so I would bite the bullet and format the drive and then clean install windows and the system drivers.

Real long shot but you could try Diskpart, see the If you can’t boot into Windows 10 info here if you cannot run the repair there are Diskpart commands available at the link amongst which is the option to format the drive.

I`m off now but will check back tomorrow, good luck meanwhile.

Any BSOD stop code on the screen when the computer crashed.

How long did it take to install Windows and did you have any problems along the way, this includes the installation seeming to freeze for a good while.

Do you happen to know the MB details so we can check the specs, we know that it is a Gigabyte but not what particular board it is, better still if you know whether or not it has any video ports and specifically the same type that your screen has, the CPU has on die video and hopefully your MB will have the required video ports for you to be able to use it.

Did you physically remove the add on video card from the MBs PCI-E slot before trying the VGA port on the MB.

Had to turn on Intergrted graphics in bios. No more glitchy lines on screen and able to load windows. So is gpu dead?
