USB 3.0 VL805 PCIe card

    Hello,
I have USB 3.0 VL805 (Via-labs chip) PCIe card (4 ports) from Ali-express. The card is recognized by OS (Win7, Linux), but the peripherals connected to the card are not powered. The card is extra powered via Molex connector. The seller claims that the output voltage is activated by the driver. I found some posts in the net about the same problem. The solution is the upgrade of card’s bios. Unfortunately, the vendor (and manufacturer and Via-labs too) does not share any files. Any idea?

    Hello
Does the device have a box pop up when you right click, with it’s properties ? You may find it in device manager.. If so is there a check off box like this

If that (Allow box) is checked off,you need to un-check it and see if that helps..
