Invisible harddrive

I have just gotten my PC up and running after installing re-installing windows on my boot harddrive (I had a thread running here about that).
I reconnected all the cables and everything works fine… except my third hard drive E: is invisible to my computer. I can see it in BIOS, but not at all in discmanagement or anywhere else for that matter. I have tried turning my pc off multiple times and of course reconnecting the cables. No luck.
I’m running out of ideas, so any help is welcome.

I doubt my specs are relevant, but my motherboard is MICROSTAR Model-MS-7849.

I can see a problem with Windows in your screenshot which may explain the issue but before we get to that can you provide the following info for us;

If the computer is a desktop can you post the brand and model name or number of the power supply (PSU).

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Is there an easy way to check my power supply without messing with the hardware? Also, I can’t get the export function to work. It’s been loading like this for a solid 30 minutes. Is this enough information?[ATTACH type=“full”]5977[/ATTACH]

EDIT: Drive E is a USB drive? Do you leave it connected all the time?

What type of cooling do you have in you system you CPU seem to be on the warm side.

When was the last time that the dust was cleaned out of the system?

Can you provide the HWMonitor screenshots as they were asked for 95% of the content of the txt that gets post is useless + it seems to take an eternity to get through which is time better spent actually helping folk, thanks.

To capture and post a screenshot;

Click on the ALT key + PRT SCR key..its on the top row..right hand side..now click on start…all programs…accessories…paint…left click in the white area …press CTRL + V…click on file…click on save…save it to your desktop…name it something related to the screen your capturing… BE SURE TO SAVE IT AS A .JPG …otherwise it may be to big to upload… after typing in any response you have… click on Upload a File to add the screenshot.

Dust was cleaned very recently. My pc is cooled via fans. Nothing fancy. One of them has recently stopped working 100%, but I’m 90% it hasn’t actually overheated. The screenshot was taken while I played Doom Eternal on very high graphics, so that probably explains the high temperature

Drive E is a USB drive? Do you leave it connected all the time?

Have you tried disconnection the drive and then reconnecting it see if windows sees it then and or tried the drive in another USB port and or on a different system to see if it reads it there?

As I said E: is a proper harddrive. It’s 2 TB.

You need to take off the side of the case to get the PSU information, shouldnt be a problem seeing that you recently cleaned the fans etc.

Can we also have the Speccy url that was requested in my reply # 5.

I cannot provide the Speccy url. As I explained, Speccy never finishes loading. Look above for a screenshot showing the specs. I will see if I can find out what power supply it is, although I don’t quite see the relevance.
