So I suppose my problems started some time ago when I on two or three occasions got this blue-screen when I was playing a game and watching a youtube video simultainiously.

I didn’t really understand what it meant. I haven’t installed new components in a long time. I figured it was close to overheating or something, so I stopped playing heavy games that I thought was more difficult to load.
Then, not too long ago, my PC was on just idling without me on it or any programs running. I start noticing a burnt kind of smell coming from somewhere in the room. First I checked everywhere else before I finally realized it came from my computer. I turned it off, tried to turn it on again, but it didn’t work so I just unplugged it and haven’t touched it since.
So before I being to open it up to try and see which parts may be ruined, what exactly should I look for? And is there something I should be very careful to not do?
I am not very tech-savvy so that’s why I thought I ask here before I start doing things myself. Given this type of bluescreen, what do you think the problem is? I assume these incidents are correletated.
