GPU on, yet no display

Specs:
intel i7-3770
gtx 1060 6gb
msi B75MA-E33
Corsair RM850

I have attempted to do some ‘quick and cheap’ upgrades to what was then a budget gaming pc, though I cannot get an output from the 1060. I have tried my old 750ti which works fine, I bought the PSU brand new see if that was the problem. Nope. The fans on the card are working, the lights are on, just no picture.

Things I have tried:
Disabling onboard motherboard graphics
Changing the PCI input cable
Reducing the load on my outlet to just the PC and monitor

Welcome to PCHF nwb97,

All the signs are pointing towards the GTX 1060 being bad I`m afraid, only way of confirming this is to try it in another computer or have a local tech test if for you.

Edit to add: Have you checked that the PSU power dongle to the GPU is securely connected at both ends - have you tried each pf the six PCI-E connections that the Corsair RM850 PSU has.
