    Internal cpu water cooling layout.

i have recently bought the cooler master 240 cpu water cooler and i could not fit it to the top of my case so i put it on the from. the orientation that i did it i am still confused about. What i did was put the fans facing out the front of the case were you can see the rgb and the radiator attached onto the back of them. should it be the other way around were it goes the radiator first and also will this put strain on the screws if their holding both the radiator and the fans on the one screw.

showing a picture of what you have done may be worth a thousand words.
    but it sounds ok.
not sure what you mean by “radiator and fans on the one screw” - aren’t there four screws per fan and the 240 has two fans?

it wouldn’t matter too much if it’s fan then radiator or vice-versa - as long as their is adequate air flow across the radiator fins.

for example i have a NZXT CPU water cooler with the radiator just above the wall mount plywood the rig is attached to.
then the fan sits on top of the radiator. i have the whole thing sitting 10mm above the wood base, enough for air to circulate.
CPU sits around 30 degrees under no load and about 40 degrees under 20% load.
I don’t play games so the load never gets too much above 20% for too long.

Yeah I can’t get a photo atm but usually the drabs are screened the the radiator which have separate screws for the case but I just used the fan ones to secure the fans and also to attach it the case. Will this cause strain on the front of the case or the screws.

two fans and a dual radiator aren’t that heavy.
but I’d be using as many screws as possible - how many have you used?
