problem with external hard drive

It doesn’t show up anywhere. When I first plugged it in it worked fine but I couldn’t install some games onto it, so I tried reformatting it and now it’s just gone. So I guess I have two problems, first that I couldn’t install some games on it and now that it’s gone Help please thanks

It’s an Intenso 2,5’’ 500GB if it matters

Can you try the drive with another pc and see if it shows?

Can you also take a screenshot of your disk management screen with the drive connected to the pc it doesnt show on?

Tried plugging it into my laptop and didn’t show up there either.

Looks like your drive or the usb connection to it may have died. Can you take the drive out of its enclosure and connect it directly to another pc?

I don’t think it can be taken out without somewhat breaking it and I don’t have any other pc to connect it to
