    All USB ports not working

First here is the story for context:
I was doing my own thing when the fan of my power supply started being extremely loud, moments later half of my pc LED lights turned off and ALL USB ports stopped working (monitor still worked though and displayed properly). I thought this was an obvious problem with the power supply so I upgraded it. I figured all of that out and then in the moment of truth, only the inside of the pc seemed to work (would post pic but it’s too big a file?). I think it’s also worth noting that while I was at it, I upgraded my ram as well, from something low like 2x4 if I remember, to 2x32.
    other notes:
    • After I changed the power supply, NOTHING that plugs into the pc worked (Ethernet cable doesn’t light up yellow and monitor acts as if nothing is plugged in to prove this)
    • Everything is plugged in but sometimes when I power it on, half of the LED lights are off (only fans’ lights remain) exactly like the very first problem before changing power supplies.
    • No plugs have worked since the original problem

I’ll update this if anything new comes up or I remember anything else significant

No help needed anymore. I’ve decided that it’s a problem I won’t be able to fix and am switching to a different pc all together. Please mark the post as solved.
