    Gpu issue

    Hi all,

I’m not tech savvy with pc’s so please be gentle..

I have an old PC that I have bought a case for and transferred over, I decided to get a graphics card for my desktop dinosaur from ebay but when I connect it I get no display to my screen. Initially I got a black screen but then nothing and now I’m not even getting that.
I have searched online for a solution but so far havent found one.
My onboard graphics work fine and I have tried disabling them and reinstalling the card but no luck.
The fans spin on the gpu so I know it is getting power and I have bought a 700w psu that I fitted today as the old one was, well…old!
    My embarrassing setup is:
    Asus m5a78l-m lx MB
    Fx-6300 cpu
2x 4gb kingston hyperx fury ram.
    1tb hdd
    100gb ssd
    Windows 10 pro OS
    Aero cool 700w psu
CiT legend case with 3 120mm led fans.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks

Something odd here, the fx-6300 doesn’t have graphics ability

Ignore the thread, I’ve managed to get it working now.
      Thanks for the reply though
