    My game is choppy

This is my first time here so I really don’t know if this is the right place for this. I play the new cod on my pc and ever since these new updates are coming out for the game it suddenly becomes choppy for me, but I have good frame rate its over 70. I looked on other sites for help but I can’t really find anything. I have 8gb of ram a gtx 1060 6gb and intel core i5 8600k. I don’t know what the problem is if anybody can help that would be great.

    Hi Filip, Welcome to PCHF!

Try Performing a clean boot in Windows and see if the same behavior occurs.

Is the power plan in Windows set to high performance?

Are you using Windows 10 version 1909?

The clean boot worked thank you so much, but how do I now know what the problem is because some of those things I use are for a keyboard or stuff like that

          Hello,

It may be the problem with those 8gb Ram, and before I had 16gb Ram I had the same problem with 8GB RAM.

I personally recommend trying to get some RAM

Try re enabling one or two things at a time to see if enabling a particular program causes the problem, Razer keyboard and/or gaming mouse software is something that I have seen causing folk issues.

You will need to re-enable some of the startup items while rebooting in between those changes until you identify the culprit program that is causing the FPS drops.
