    Cant Get to Windows

I haven’t used my PC in a week. Today I turned it on and wqs getting no signal to my monitor. I checked all the cables and still nothing. I tries to power my pc down by holding the power button and nothing happened. For 5-10sec, 30sec, didn’t make a difference. I noticed my mouse lights up when the PC is on, but not the keyboard. I bought this primarily for gaming. Have done literally nothing else. No remotely sketchy websites or anything. No idea where to start with this. I have basic computer knowledge. My brother helped me order it. Specs in the picture. Please help me!

Lets get you started and others will have more to check

How old is the system if there is still any warranty on it what we would have you do would void out that warranty.

Have you also checked to make sure that the monitor is connected to the correct video card and not the onboard?

When the system is powered on what do you hear? Beeps? Ticks?

If you have a DVD drive make sure that there is no disk in it.

Does anything come up on the screen when you first turn it on?

When you turn on the system what color is and is it flashing for the power indicator?

I’ve had it just under 6 months so far.

I do have a second monitor connected to the onboard, but the first monitor is to the video card.

It just sounded like it was running per usual.

        No disk drive.

Nothing came up on my monitor at all. The monitor just went into sleep mode when i turned it on due to no signal.

        Not sure on lights.

So an update. I went out for a bit today and came back and this time it started just fine. I haven’t done anything to it. I’m glad it’s running now, but whatever happened shouldn’t have. Is there a way to figure out what the issue was? Currently it has one blue light on next to the power, and below one red.

I’ve also run into issues with my disc% shooting up to 100% off and on at times and it is currently at 100% I’m thinking it may be worth just formating and starting fresh but i dont know how to or if it is neccesary. Also the computer came with things already installed. It’s really just frustrating that I’ve used it for nothing but games, spent (and am still spending) alot of money and ive had alot of issues with it.

Perhaps you should consider a warranty claim?

Agree with Gus if there is still any warranty covering it make the claim sounds as if there could be a hardware failing.

I think I’ll be looking into that tonight after work. Hopefully that goes smoothly.
