Memory Hardware Error

Hi, earlier today my Windows 10 custom built tower had a blue screen where it said there was a Memory Hardware problem. I ran the Memory diagnostics tool and it basically had the same wording and no further info. Is there a way to properly diagnose this problem/fix it without having to buy new ram?
