    PC makes crackling sound

Tbh, I’m not sure when this sound started, I just ended up noticing it. Before posting this thread, I have looked onl

ine and couldn’t really find an answer so I just went over here to see if maybe anyone knows what this sound is and what I can do to stop it.

I forgot to mention, when I turn the computer off or in sleep mode, the sound goes away. And, when i turn it on and when i get to the desktop, maybe 5-10 mins using it, the sound starts.

      Hello

You may want to use a different method of the noise recording.. Can’t access the one you posted.

Can you describe where the sound is coming form (in the general area) and what it sounds like?

that is the noise of a cable hitting a fan blade if I’m not mistaken.
taking off the side cover will verify that pretty quickly.
