No display on Monitor but pc running fine

I bought new parts for my pc (new ram, cpu and motherboard) but before I put the parts into my computer I wiped my hardrive of all the files drivers everything ect. I then put in all of my new parts And hit the power button. Everything in my computer powered on and all led’s where on and fans where spinning. I then plugged my hdmi cable into my graphics card firmly so it wasn’t hanging lose or anything. But my monitor still says no signal. And at this point I’ve lost hope because I looked through countless videos but can’t find a solution. Can someone please help me out.

I uninstalled everything including drivers and haven’t been able to install any as the screen just displays no input or no signal

Can you try a different HDMI cable? Also if you have one, have it plugged in before you start the pc. You may want to try that with the HDMI cable you are trying to use now.

I tried a different hdmi and it still said no signal. I then tried inserting the hdmi before powering it on and still nothing showing on display.

just checking - are you using the mobo graphics port or a 3rd party, add-on card?
if add-on card, remove it and use the mobo port - let’s get the PC running first.

So remove the gpu and try running it off the motherboards hdmi? Because I’ve been using the hdmi port in my gpu.

Let’s take as many variables out of the equation as possible and start from a working rig first before we start adding complexity.

I removed my gpu from the pci e slot and then put my hdmi cable into my mobo firmly. Still get greeted with that no input though even in the mobo hdmi slot.

We need to know the specs of your hardware, brand and model name or number of the CPU, MB, GPU, RAM (including the amount) and the PSU.

I hope that this is not going to be an expensive lesson to be learned, other than hot swappable devices such as some external storage devices you should never connect or disconnect anything to an active computer or one that still has residual charge in the system.
