New Parts (gpu/cpu/mobo), monitor not detecting

    I just got a new:
    GPU: RTX 2080
    CPU: i5 9600k
Motherboard: MSI MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE

After getting everything wired and in the build, i turned on the power and everything in the build (psu, gpu, cpu, motherboard lights) turned on along with the fans.

However.. my monitor detects nothing. The monitor is plugged directly into the gpu, and ive tried many things but cannot get the monitor to detect anything.

Any help? I spent $850+ and am hoping someone can help me fix /:

Can you supply details of your Power Supply?

Please, no need to quote previous posts.

Recommended minimum system power for that graphic card is 650 watts.

Remove your graphics card from the PC, plug your monitor into the onboard graphics on the motherboard, reboot and see if you have video.

            UPDATE***
I noticed the EZ Debug Light for the CPU is on preventing the bootup. Any thoughts? The CPU is brand new

Take all the parts out of the case and build the pc on a piece of cardboard to test,.

Yes! I discover 1-2 bent/rusted/worn pins on the motherboard that was sent. The replacement should be delievered soon

Thanks for letting us know that assistance was no longer required, you will hopefully have better luck with the replacement board (y)
