What video card and processor.
Please describe what you mean by “power saving mode” what happens exactly when you press the power on button.

Can I ask that you do not quote every reply, it really does not help and just makes for unnecessary reading, thanks.Comment

That is one hell of an old PSU, first released twelve + years ago, how old is the one that you have.

Sorry but for us to be able to help you we in turn need you to help us by answering any questions that are asked and for you to also provide any on screen information, it is most unhelpful for us to have to keep on asking for the same information and to ask that people to not quote every reply.
To check that it is not your monitor that has the problem, if you have a notebook that has a video port that is compatible with one of the video ports on your GPU try hooking up the notebook to your external screen, alternatively, try another screen and/or compatible video cable with the computer that has the problem.

amd fx processor and i honestly do’t even know where my video card is. [COLOR=rgb(41, 105, 176)]Strange that you know the PSU details but not the GPU, open the case and check the card that you are plugging your monitor into, be sure to disconnect all power leads from the computer before taking off the side of the case.
