It`s not legit, my friend gave me a flash drive with windows on it to reinstall whenever I feel like it. I understand that can cause problems but everything was fine for 2-3 years

Thank you for confirming that Windows is not legit but I beg to differ that it has been fine and that is why Windows has never been allowed to update since it was installed on 2018-11-05 and you have used Avast AV rather than Windows own built in AV Windows Defender which btw is now more preferable than Avast is.
