    GIGABYTE QUICK BOOST

GIGABYTE GA-P67A-UD3-B3 . Cannot get smart6 to change cpu overclock, used to work last time I
used some time ago. Running w7 pro. Was wondering if it could be my anti virus program. Bit Defender.
    Thanks for any help.

    Hello

Could be the AV. Try shutting down Bit Defender and try again..

It’s been a while, but the last time I used those gigabyte mobo/system apps I had to not just install one, had to also install some others.
From memory it told me “that one won’t work until you also install xyz”.
So perhaps try installing the whole gang.

Also from memory, anything those apps could do from the desktop could also be done straight from inside the BIOS.
