I have this really old desktop that I want to fix up before I get rid of it. I’m trying to boot thru the windows 7 iso that I have on a flashdrive, but with each startup the system hangs while trying to initialize the ACPI controller. The CMOS battery is working fine, and the video card I’ve replaced several times.
According to your picture there is no hard drive? Perhaps the drive is bad? Dont know if you can on that bios but see if you can disable ACPI, and see if the bios has the latest update even if its on old board.
Still showing no hard drive, the hard drive is bad, or there is a hardware issue between the motherboard and hard drive. Can you try the hard drive in another pc, either internal or external?
