My graphics card (3gb 1060) started making weird noise randomly. I tried rebooting, removing thr GPU, dusting it, and no luck.. it’s so loud it’s hard to tell where it’s coming from, but 98% sure it’s the GPU
if you can’t determine which fan is causing the noise, try stopping each fan’s blades until the noise stops.
so get a soft brush and push it against the spinning blades - don’t jam it in there too fast, slowly does it, until the blades stop.
if the noise stops, there’s the culprit.
if the noise continues, move on to another fan.
