Pc power problem, help needed

Hey there,
I’ve got a puzzle here; hopefully someone can help me out. I had the same problem in the past and bought a new power cable and replaced my videocard. For a couple of months the problem was fixed. But again my pc sometimes does and sometimes doesn’t turn on. There’s always power; the motherboards light is on and the usb-ports have power too. Still sometimes when I press the powerbutton nothing happens; no beep, no fans turned on; nada. When I walk around with the desktop it and try to turn it on again it works, but with the BIOS notification; I have to go into the BIOS and can go out straight away. The pc will startup as normal after although the time is always different (date and time zone stays correct, only the time itself changes). I have renewed the BIOS battery, and power cable. All my other electrical appliances in my house work fine.

first thing try cross off the list of potentials is oxidisation and dust.
So blow out the chassis of any dust build-up.
next would be to remove the video card and memory sticks, wipe their contacts and their slots and brush their surfaces.
reseat and see if that helps.

Antec BP550 Plus (550 Watt)

How old is this PSU, regardless it should not be used anywhere near an add on video card, labelled as a 550W PSU but could only produce 384W when independently tested, you can confirm this for yourself here

This could be due to one of the modular cables not being secure.

If you are talking about the time being off in Windows itself then it has nothing to do with the CMOS battery, Windows 10 will try and synchronize the clock once it has successfully booted up.

eForce GTX 1070Ti

You need to get yourself a good quality brand 500W PSU that has a minimum of 33 amps on the +12V rail, until you have one, I strongly suggest that you remove the 1070Ti from the motherboard and use the boards onboard graphics solution, if you don`t, you run the risk of the present PSU going bang taking all of your other hardware with it in the process.
