Intel Core i7 8700K Coffee Lake

is that even possible with this?
im not a pc nerd xD so hope somone could tell me if i can just buy that and place it in my rig

Welcome to PCHF Dutchxarms,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the eighth generation i7 8700K is not compatible with the 6th generation socket ECS Z170H4 - EA motherboard that you have, the MB in the Medion computer is an OEM board made by but unsupported by ECS so there is little to no information available about the board, the processors may both be the same socket type but among the reasons why the 8700k will not work in the board includes the following TDP limit, chipset type and BIOS version, while the answer is not good news I hope that it helps.

thanks so there is noting i can upgrade to for better gaming performence i have rtx 2080 idk if it works good together of the cpu i have ya know

Can you post the exact model name and/or number of the computer so that we can check the specs, the power supply in particular.

All the specs that I can find only say 700W PSU, example here I suggest that you check for yourself what the actual PSU is in the computer, the RTX 2080 as you will be aware is a rather expensive piece of kit and I would not use anything less than a 650/750 Gold efficiency rated PSU from a proven company such as Corsair, EVGA or Seasonic.

Can you just post the brand and model name or number of the PSU, we cannot see them in your picture.

Nothing wrong with the one that you have got and for anything better you would need to swap out the MB which in turn would involve having to pay for a new Windows product key, if Windows came pre installed the product key in use atm is tied to it and cannot be used when upgrading the MB.
