SSD missing after RAM installation

    SSD missing after RAM installation

    I installed some RAM (same as I had already) to upgrade from 8GB to 16GB. PC restarted OK but realised Steam & installed games were missing as my ‘G’ drive Samsung SSD had vanished. Tried restarting several times but Windows would not load up. I removed the 2 RAM modules & PC started OK but the SSD is still missing. Any ideas?

      Update…got the SSD back by unplugging then plugging back in. Now just wondering why PC would not load Windows up with the new RAM installed.

          Fitted the RAM again & no issues this time.
